Daventry Hockey Club The only Hockey Club in Daventry Welcome to Daventry Hockey Club . . . We all play because we love the sport, and always have fun.

The Club was founded in 1990 by Ron Pilgrim, an ex-teacher at the local William Parker School where he taught for 32 years. During a playing career which spanned 53 years Ron won 169 county caps which is still a record. His long and distinguished playing career stretching back more than half a century to his college days in the Home Counties at Chalfont St Giles. Since then Ron has played for Nort

hampton Saints, Corby and Kettering as well as setting up both Northampton Lions and Daventry. Today the club consists of a Ladies team and are moving from strength to strength each season. Daventry Hockey Club has always played at it's home ground at Staverton Sports Park, Browns Rd, Daventry.
