IMPORTANT NOTICE 17/05/25-24/05/25
EYDON COMMUNITY SPORTS FIELD
Please be advised that on Sat 17th May, the Eydon Community Sports Field will be treating the cricket playing areas (within the usual outfield boundary area and the main cricket square) with a general purpose w**d killer.
The product advises that livestock should not graze treated areas for 7 days after application.
The Sports Field Committee therefore advises people to avoid usual dog walking in the sports field until Sat 24th May, and especially to avoid ball throwing for their dogs which could potentially pick up traces of the w**dkiller.
The children's swings, exercise and play areas are not being treated.
We apologise for this temporary restriction and any inconvenience this may cause.

The Committee have made the regrettable decisions to lock up our outside toilets over the winter period as our taps and toilet cisterns are being left on regularly, which with current utility charges is unacceptable and unsustainable for us to manage. Please accept our apologies and we will post again when they are reopened.

England V France Saturday 11th March - 4pm - £10
Join us at the Village Hall, from 4pm where Mark from the Star at Sulgrave will do a short presentation about the aid that they have been providing to Ukraine. After this the live match will be aired.
Tickets are £10 - this includes Cider and a Burger or Hot Dog.

We are pleased to say that the Sports Field now has a working Defibrillator. A big thank you to all who donated towards it and to AJR Electrical Services (Banbury) Ltd for installing free of charge.

Calling the Eydon Community! We are looking for any donation that you feel comfortable in making to help fund a defibrillator at the Sport Field. We feel that having one where many physical activities are carried out could save a life. Any amount, from £1 upwards would be hugely appreciated to help us fund this.

Our new Toilet facilities are now OPEN, thanks to funding from HS2. We have toilets, one with baby changing facilities. They will be timelocked between the hours of 8.30pm and 8am but open during the daytime
