Speed use it or lose it! ๐Ÿ’จ

Within your weekly training schedule we need to make sure we are including speed specific sessions. In which we are exposing ourselves to or close to maximal velocity speeds. To help mitigate hamstring injuries ๐Ÿ‰.

Studies looking at residual training effects have shown that maximal speed is lost after 2 to 8 days. Taking this in to perspective sprinting is one of the highest forced training activities we can do and neglecting this can increase risk of injury dramatically ๐Ÿฉผ

If we are looking to improve sprint speed too. There is nothing more effective than actually practicing sprinting itself ๐Ÿ’จ. Of course there are other factors in which will help improve sprint performance such as postural work, shapes and positional work to.
