Ade (hubby) and I are joining a friend tomorrow, who has taken on a massive challenge! To walk 588 miles over 36 consecutive days… defying his terminal Prostate Cancer diagnosis.
Paul has already walked over 460 miles and Ade and I are joining him on a stretch from Horton to Weybridge tomorrow.. approx 14 miles.

“How am I eating so little, but still gaining weight?”⁠

Sound familiar? Maybe you’ve even had a client ask this.⁣⁠

So, what’s really happening? Can you gain weight by eating too little?⁣⁠ 🤔⁠

Here’s the deal:⁣⁠
📈When we take in more energy than we use, we gain weight.⁣⁠
📉 When we use more than we take in, we lose weight.⁣⁠

It sounds simple, but a lot of factors influence this balance, which can make things tricky. But the truth is, no one can defy the laws of thermodynamics. ⁠

Bottom line: If it feels like you’re beating the system… you’re not.⁠
