🏊‍♂️ PART-TIME SWIMMING TEACHER 🏊‍♂️

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Splash team!
We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and organised Swimming Teacher to join us on a maternity cover contract, with the possibility of permanent hours becoming available in the future.

📍 Based across our Riverside and Buckshaw Village sites

Available shifts:
🗓 Tuesday: 9.30am – 3.30pm at Riverside
🗓 Wednesday: 9.30am – 7.30pm at Buckshaw Village
🗓 Saturday: 9.00am – 6.00pm at Riverside

We are also happy to consider splitting the role between two suitable candidates, so if you can only commit to some of the available hours, we'd still love to hear from you.

What we're looking for:
✅ Level 2 Teaching Aquatics Qualification (essential)
✅ Baby and Pre School Qualification or experience (desirable but not essential)
✅ National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches (NRASTC), Pool Attendant Qualification or National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (desirable but not essential)
✅ Professional, punctual and well-organised
✅ Strong communication skills
✅ Passion for teaching and helping swimmers progress
✅ Flexibility to work additional hours when required

Key responsibilities:
💦 Deliver high-quality swimming lessons
💦 Plan and assess swimming programmes
💦 Complete lesson plans, schemes of work and assessments
💦 Support swimmers of all ages and abilities to achieve their goals

🚧 Road closure update 🚧

‼️RIVERSIDE CUSTOMERS‼️

We’ve now been advised by BwD Roads that the road closures will be starting from 7pm, so this shouldn’t affect our lessons.

There may, however, be a slight delay for customers leaving after the last lesson of the evening, so please be aware of this when exiting Splash.

We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we will update you if we receive any further information. 💙
