STRENGTH TRAINING FOR FOOTBALL ⚽️
Football has a high risk of both Hamstring Strains & ACL Injuries 🤕
Nordic Hamstring Curls have been shown to reduce the risk factors of both of the aforementioned Injuries.
Extreme loading of the hamstring is apparent - so for beginners it would be better to increase the ability of the Hamstrings using Swiss Ball Curls prior to performing Nordics.
When performing the Nordics:
• Move through a full Range off Motion
• Resist slowly on the way down
• Add assistance by pushing the ground away (*less assistance as you progress)
