Park it somewhere pretty. ⛵️🌊

Hard to believe with a view like this, but we still have trot moorings available to members on the River Dart for the summer season, for boats between 7 and 14 metres LOA.

Shallow draught? We have swinging moorings too, for boats up to 4.5m LOA.

And if it floats but doesn’t quite count as a boat, we can also store your dinghy, tender, paddleboard or outboard.

Fees are pro-rated for the rest of the season, so you’re only paying for the summer you actually get. 👏

Not a member yet? That’s fixable. 😉

☔️ After putting paid to junior sailing this morning, the weather followed us to the Noss on Dart Open Day, but thankfully so did plenty of warm, welcoming smiles.

We had a great time talking about all things sailing, events, membership and club life at the RDYC. ⛵️

It was fantastic to chat with so many visitors, catch up with familiar faces, and spend time with Mike Smith MBE and hear about the Marina’s exciting developments. 🌊

With the Noss Ferry now running between Noss Marina, Dartmouth and Kingswear, it’s easier than ever to pop down river, and we look forward to welcoming some new faces to the club over the summer. 👋

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by. 😁

Last night was rather good. Actually, last night was brilliant.

Sailors, it turns out, know their wine. Who knew that the people who navigate by stars and argue about tide tables would also have impeccable taste in Chardonnay?

Ed Capper of Dartmouth Wine Company guided us through nine wines with the kind of effortless knowledge that makes you feel like you’ve learned something, while also making you want another glass. From a crisp Chardonnay and elegant Pinot Noir to a Stellenbosch Cabernet, a brilliant Piquepoul, and a rich Australian Durif that few had heard of and everyone immediately wanted to buy, it was a masterclass in enjoying wine without taking it too seriously.

Add in the welcome fizz, a great charcuterie spread, and the River Dart sparkling away outside, and you have an evening that’s hard to beat.

Huge thanks to Ed for sharing his expertise so generously, and to Mark, Accalia and Oscar for hosting so brilliantly.

Join the next one! 🥂🍷

On Saturday 23rd May, during RDYC Charity Day in support of the Royal Dart Youth Sailing Trust, we were proud to officially launch SEAQUESTER on World Boating Day. ⛵️

SEAQUESTER will help create more opportunities for young sailors to get out on the water, gain confidence, build friendships and spend more time sailing for years to come.

To mark the occasion, Georgina Wiltshire beautifully captured the spirit of what this boat represents and the wonderful adventures that lie ahead. ✨

Ed Capper has been running the reputable local Dartmouth Wine Company for 15 years. That’s 15 years of knowing exactly which bottle you should be drinking.

On Thursday 4 June, he’s sharing nine of his personal favourites with you.

A wine tasting, a charcuterie board, and a brilliant evening at the club. Ed has done the hard work of finding the good stuff so you can just... enjoy it.

Nine wines spanning red, white, rosé, sparkling and dessert. Each with his own tasting notes. 🍾

Members bring guests. Whether that’s the friend who knows nothing about wine, or the one who knows everything. Ed can handle both. 🙌

Spaces are limited. Book via SmartClub. We know, we know, you’ll do it later. Do it now. ⏱️😉
