MAN OF THE MATCH

Eden Cresswell-Cluer was awarded our man of the match against Ipplepen.

Aside from scoring our goal, Eden was a constant threat going forwards, and was unfortunate not to have added another goal in the game too.

Chairman, Gary Lobb presented Eden with his bottle in memory of our late friend Dave Lawrence. Rest in peace, Dave.

FULL TIME

We exit the Devon Premier Cup following a 1-2 defeat to Ipplepen

A game of two half’s really, and could and should have gone in at half time with a bigger lead than 1-0.

But the second half, we were a few yards off the pace at times and Ipplepen capitalised with a set piece to equalise and the winner came from a bit of sloppy defending allowing a 3 yard tap in.

Good luck to Ipplepen in the next round.

We have another cup game next week, hosting Thorverton in the league cup.

POTM - AUGUST 2026

The management team have voted Ben Clark as our player of the month for August.

It’s been a strange month of results, but in every game, Clarky has been box to box and putting in a solid shift for the team.

We may have added an ‘E’ to his name, and confused him with Eden on the team sheet at Brixham, but after only a few games for us, the Longross faithful sure know Clarky (no E!) and everything his game is about.

Well deserved, Ben. Let’s smash September 💪🏻
