Bemsee Round 7 Cadwell Park club 1000 race report

Friday test day
Extremely hot day but went out in the afternoon sessions an got down to the lap times I set earlier in the year so was pretty happy in those conditions 🥵

Saturday
Qualified p4 in class 4th row on the grid

Race 1 - 9 laps
With a mediocre start I had some work to do having dropped a few places but chipped away and managed p4 in class

Race 2 - 9 laps
An other terrible start dropping quite a few places and had to work to finish p5 in class 😏

Sunday

Race 3 - 12 laps
I was looking forward to the long race but with rain just before conditions got very sketchy on track so decided to put the wets wheels in , but rolling onto the grid I could see a dry line and quickly realised I’d made the wrong decision 🤦🏻‍♂️,
I made a good start off the line and up to lap 3 was in a good position but after that the rear tyre was overheating sliding/spinning everywhere even on the back straight 😳
But managed to hold it together bringing it home p4 in class .

Overall a tough weekend and Cadwell isn’t my strongest circuit but still managed to score some good points for the championship keeping my in 2nd place 94 points behind 1st with 2 rounds and 6 races left this season.

Bemsee round 6 Donington national club 1000 race report

Friday test day

I only needed the morning to get the bike sorted after the rebuild and after that me a the bike felt good.

Saturday

Qualified p4 in class 4th row on the grid

Race 1 - 10 laps

I had a terrible start going into turn one but quickly made up the places over the first few laps then settled into a rhythm finishing p3 in class 💪🏼

Race 2 - 10 laps

Made a decent start and had some good battles throughout the race finishing p5 in class

Sunday

Race 3 - 14 laps

Made another decent start and quickly settled into a rhythm setting my fastest laps of the weekend in windy conditions but the race was red flagged on lap 9 so it was declared a result putting me p5 in class

Overall a really good weekend an I was happy with the way I rode in all races plus the bike was faultless.

Bemsee round 5 snetterton club 1000 race report

Friday test day
Very hot conditions so got out in the morning for 3 sessions before it got too warm , the bike and I felt really good so pretty happy overall

Saturday

Qualified p3 in class row 4 on the grid

Race 1 - 7laps
I jumped the start and gained a 10 second penalty but rode hard and managed to finish p2 with a 14 second gap so stayed p2 I class 💪🏼

Race 2 - 7 laps
I had a terrible start an lost a few places but managed to gain them back on lap one finishing p3 in class .

Sunday

Race 3 - 10 laps
Made a decent start and was p2 in class but went for the lead on the back straight into brundle where I was carrying to much speed an lost the front resulting in me going down and getting collected by the rider behind 🤦🏻‍♂️ me an the over rider were fine thankfully 🙏 but the gutting thing for me was throwing a podium/ points away 😫
