***Please note: Thursday club nights at the Leigh UTC will be suspended for the whole of December, due to mock exams and then the festive break.
Club nights will go ahead as usual on 18th and 25th November and then will restart on Thursday 6th January.
Tuesday nights at Fairfield are unaffected.***

Venue - the Leigh UTC on the bridge development, off Bob Dunn Way, Brunel way, DA1 5TF (inspiration academy, sports hall is upstairs)
Time - 8-10pm
Cost - £6 per player or £25 per month

From next week, it will no longer be necessary to pre-book a place to attend Wilmington Badminton Club and it will no longer be pre-existing members only. If you want to come and play with us, you only need to come along and give it a go. Currently club nights are as follows:

Tuesday 7-9pm
Fairfield leisure centre, Lowfield Street, Dartford
Playing with feathers
£8 visitor fee or £30 per month

If you want to let one of the committee members know you are coming, in advance, you can do so on here, via the messenger app or email.

Good hygiene practices remain in place and we will move forward as a handshake free club, so at the end of games you can tap or wave rackets or elbow bump. We request that players do not attend if required to self-isolate, have tested positive for covid or are displaying any covid symptoms and reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone not following these rules.

There are a few spaces left on our First aid for sports course, open to sports coaches and club members/representatives. Subsidised by Kent Badminton Ltd. Taking place at the Becket centre on Shepherds Lane in Dartford, on Friday 16th July 9am-3pm. Cost is £70 per person. Topics covered will be sports focused and include soft tissue injuries, accidents & emergencies and will include CPR and use of defib. Trainer is 4lifetraininguk. The qualification is nationally recognised and accredited and certification lasts for 3 years.
Come and learn some really important life-saving skills, or refresh your existing knowledge ❤️

Calling all Coaches and Club Reps - KBL are subsidising a sports specific First Aid Course - to be run from 9am to 3pm on 16th July 2021 at Beckets sports centre (attached to Dartford Grammar School for Boys) on Shepherds Lane.
