COLOURED BELT GRADING - TODAY

Good luck to all students grading today! Grading is from 2-4pm at the Dartford Judo Club on Cotton Lane.

For students that haven't been invited to grade, please still attend the grading for assessment by Mr Walker and experience within the grading environment.

There will be no class at 5pm, as all students are encouraged to attend the grading.

Class Etiquette - Please note the following for all Kids and Family Classes:

1) That there should be no conversations taking place in the dojang. If you wish to chat/talk please leave the room to do so.

2) Parents should not get involved with classes or teaching unless asked to do so.

3) That if you talk or are deemed to be a distraction, you may be asked to leave the room by the instructor.

4) That the Instructor is primary lead whilst the class is ongoing, meaning that any student needs the instructors permission to take leave to speak to a parent.

5) If a child sustains a minor injury or needs medical attention then this situation is to be managed by the instructor, who then may ask for assistance as required.

6) That if there are other family members or siblings being looked after by parents then they should behave according to the etiquette outlined.

From today class times are being modified, new class times will be as follows:

Monkeys - 5.45-6.30pm
Kids - 6.30-7.30pm
Family - 7.30-8.30pm

Please ensure if you are grading on Sunday 7th June that you have completed your grading application form by tomorrow, Thursday 4th June.

All grading invite emails for grading next Sunday 7th June have now been sent, please check your junk folder if you have not received an invite but have been informed you are grading. Also if you have more than one student in your family and are unsure who is grading, please get in touch.

TONIGHT'S CLASSES NOT RUNNING

Mr O'Brien is ill today and is unable to take classes. Due to the short notice and with much regret we will now have to cancel tonight's classes.

As a result of this and the Judokwai letting us down last Sunday, we will now run classes over half term/bank holiday (24th&28th May) in lieu of the last two dates.

We ask that you practice at home, both practical and theory in preparation for the grading.

All 1st kup and Dan grade students are reminded to submit their credits sheets to be eligible for grading.

Please remember forms must be submitted and signed off BEFORE the events identified on the sheet.
