Hi all,

Over the past two weeks, we have held two fundraising events to raise money towards the children’s play area renovations.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported these events and come along to enjoy the evenings. Together, we have raised £820 over the two events, which will all go towards replacing and improving the play area.

A special thank you to Danny Goldsbrough for running the cinema night last night. Danny provided the cinema completely free of charge, meaning that every penny raised from the evening could go towards the play area renovations.

Danny and Katie from The Bull, Horton Kirby, Kent have been sponsors of the club for many years and are always there to support our events and the club. We really appreciate everything you do for us. Thanks guys!

A big thank you also goes to the Farningham Cricket Club Ladies team, who hosted the quiz night last week. We really appreciate the support from the whole club since our children’s play area was stolen. Your support means a lot to us and the local community.

And finally, a massive thank you to the guys on our committee who work behind the scenes to organise these events. All of our committee members give up their time voluntarily, and I ask a lot of them throughout the season. Without their hard work and commitment, evenings like these simply wouldn't happen.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far. Every pound raised gets us one step closer to providing the local children with a safe and enjoyable play area again.

Hello everyone,

I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated to our club. Your generosity has been overwhelming, and we are incredibly grateful for your kindness and support.

Thanks to your donations, we have already been able to start making important improvements, including:

🏏 Purchasing a new and improved climbing frame
🚪 Repairing the entrance to the club
📹 Installing additional security cameras

None of this would have been possible without each and every one of you. Your support is helping to make Horton Kirby Cricket Club an even better and safer place for our members, families, and the local community.

So far, we have raised an amazing £3,620 through our GoFundMe page, along with an additional £200 in cash donations.

We also are hosting Kent disabilities team please have a look at the flyer. This is an ideal game if you have a family member who has a disability and wants to get into a sport. Please see the flyers for details.

Game day at Horton Kirby CC today! 🏏☀️

The bar will be open and play gets underway at 1pm.

It's been a tough couple of weeks with the weather, so why not come down, enjoy some cricket in the sunshine, and make the most of the day? There really is no better way to spend it.
