Morning,
Thank you for signing up to the Joydens Wood Summer Series.
For the second month running we have managed to choose the hottest day of the year for our race. We are going ahead, the wonderful trees will provide shade but it is going to be a hot one.
We will have water at the end of the race, please bring water with you for pre race hydration and whilst on the run.
The event is brought to you with the permission of the Woodland Trust to whom we are most grateful. Please show your appreciation by taking all your rubbish home at the end of the event so we can leave the woods as beautiful as we find them.
There are no toilet facilities within the Woods, please bear that in mind when planning your pre race routine.
Please car share and park in a manner respectful to our neighbours. There are three entrances to the Woods, on Summerhouse Drive close to Norfield Road and via Ferndell Avenue, and from Stable Lane the Bexley Village end. There will be directional signage to the start from all three entrances.
We will be set up at the picnic area from 6:30 onwards please remember to bring your number from Race 1 with you. No need to bring the QR code along with you, we wouldn't know what to do with it. For your less organised friends who have not entered, there will be on the night entries available for £10, strictly CASH only, there is no signal available in the woods for online transactions.
The race will start at 7:15.

Thank you to all the runners tonight, it was a great evening and it looked like you all enjoyed it. Results will be a little while as Megan is busy watching a winning football club.
A big thank you to the lady who took photographs for us, it really is most appreciated, it was a very kind offer.
We go again, see you in June for 'Route 3'.
