Brands hatch endurance- P5 absolute shambles
Qualified P3 after missing the test day, I was happy with my initial pace. Joe put in a good first stint posting quicker lap times throughout the session. My first stint was steady in a comfortable first in class, saw my gap slowly coming down from behind, so I was about to increase my pace until the rain appeared (the start of the shambles). Long story short communication break downs from all of us + p**s poor preparation meant we had a 15+ minute pit stop 🤦! This is just a bit of fun for us and we are very inexperienced within the endurance scene but you live and you learn, it won’t happen again!

Race report- Knockhill
FP1 🌧️- P11– first time on the new bike in the wet, was really happy with the feeling!
FP2 🌧️- P21- wrong strategy in this one sat in pit lane for the majority of the mid part of the session, built my pace up too late in the session. Missing out on Q2 by a couple of positions!
Qualifying ☀️- P28- I was happy with qualifying first dry session knocking 0.6 off my previous PB!
Race 1 ☀️- P25- an average start saw me hold position at the end of the opening lap. Towards the end of the race I had a good battle with a young Scottish rider improving my PB by 0.4 but missing out on position.
Warm up ☀️- P23- felt happy with the bike improving by 0.1!
Race 2 ☀️- P25- A poor start saw me lose a few positions. After a couple of laps I regained a couple of positions, from then on it was a lonely race. Managed to equal my PB however was unable to improve, the rear grip just wasn’t there.

Croft endurance NLR 🥇
Despite Joe looking at the wrong flag, setting off from Newcastle and running to the wrong bike his start was sensational. Again we didn’t panic just continued to tick off quick consistent lap times and in the end taking the class win and second overall. Fun weekend battling in the national 600 against some good lads, close battle till the end!

Race report Donington-
FP1 ☀️- P32nd
FP2 ☀️- P32nd
Qualifying ☀️- P28th- beat my previous PB by 0.4
Race 1 ☀️- P23- a good start saw me shoot up a few places! After a couple of chaotic opening laps, I had an enjoyable race long battle with two other riders. Beat my original PB by 1.2 seconds!
Race 2 ☀️- P19- decided to take the outside line into T1, which saw me drop a few positions. I managed to battle my way back through, setting a good pace equalling my PB! A last lap battle saw me miss out on P18.
Really pleased with my performance throughout the weekend, really feel that we’ve found something after all the hard work in winter. Having the support from throughout the weekend is invaluable both Richard and Tim are fantastic!
I first met Matt a few years back but decided to take the plunge and work with him throughout the winter, he was an amazing bloke, passionate and very knowledgeable rider coach. He will be sadly missed! I hope to continue building on the foundations instilled by Matt, and in some way my weekends performance was my personal tribute to him!

FP1 ☀️ - P31
FP2 ☀️- P37
Qualifying ☀️- P37
Race 1 ☀️- P25- good start off the line and into T1 found me moving up a few positions. Managed to make a further few overtakes mid race. PB in the race, a massive improvement in time compared to previous years 1.5 seconds faster!
Race 2 ☀️- P33- made another good start however just couldn’t get going and made too many mistakes.
Shoutout to Martin at eastern garage Essex for coming onboard appreciate all the help we can get!

Brands race report
WHAT A WAY TO END THE SEASON!! POINTS!!!
Race 1- P28
Race 2- P14!!!!!!!

FP1 ☀️- P34- started well faster than I’d been in previous FP1’s around brands.
FP2 ☀️- P36- made changes with the gearing improved but not as much as I’d have liked.
Qualifying ☀️- P37- very disappointing a big chunk away from my PB!
Race 1 ☀️-P28- my worst race to date, poor pace and struggling to improve!
Race 2 🌧️- P14- got a poor start entered the braking zone of turn one last however managed to go around the outside of 4 riders in turn one then a further 4/5 riders in turn 2, my position progression continued throughout the opening laps. Spent most of the race behind one rider as we made it though the pack together he managed to get past slightly smoother than myself meaning he pulled a gap. After a few crashes we crossed the line P14!!!!!

After Saturdays disappointment it was even sweeter to sign the season off with points!

Race report- Oulton park
FP1 🌧️- P20- had a good feeling in the wet, however didn’t push to the max!

FP2 🌧️- P32- only managed a couple of laps at the start didn’t feel the need to risk any crash damage!

Combined FP- P20

Qualifying - cancelled due to weather
Starting the race from P19!

Race ☀️- P25- I made an average start but an incident into the first corner made me hesitant to push causing me to lose a few places. My early laps after the safety car weren’t good enough meaning I was moving backwards. I then began to settle into the race and maintained position to the end.

On reflection I managed to cut my gap to the front, however was slightly disappointed with my performance in the race especially in those earlier laps.

Race report- Cadwell
This weekend was a struggle, following my injuries from thruxton the bursa in my elbow became infected causing me severe pain and restriction when riding.
FP1 ☀️- P30- good start despite the red flags distrusting my rhythm
FP2 ☀️- P32- nice improvement on my FP1 time equalling my PB.
Qualifying ☀️- P34- beat my PB by 0.6.
Race 1 ☀️- P26- made up 4 places on the opening lap. Unfortunately a few laps in I made a few mistakes and gradually lost the pack in front. Two riders then made their way past and for the remainder of the race I had a good battle with one of the riders that had made their way past earlier on the race. Unfortunately I was unable to make the move stick on the final couple of laps.

All in all not an awful weekend improved my PB despite the constant pain and restriction in my elbow. Disappointed the lap time didn’t improve in the race, however the track condition felt more preferable on the Saturday!
