Mind-muscle connection means bringing your attention to your body as you move. It also means thinking about actively engaging the target muscle as you engage in movement.

This is important for your workouts as it helps activate the muscle fibres even more than without any attention

✨ have a PT - you’ll become familiar with exercises and will know where to find things
✨ go with a friend - training with a partner is a lot of fun
✨ have a plan - structure your workouts so you know what you’re doing before you even enter the gym
✨ start slowly - theres no need to rush into the complicated exercises, start basic and build your way up

Sleep gives your body time to recover, conserve energy, and repair and build up the muscles worked during exercise. Good quality sleep is essential for athletic recovery.

(I can assure you I normally come to the gym to workout not sleep on the equipment)

Remember your protein!!

Whether you’re building muscle or trying to lose weight, getting the right amount of protein into your diet plays a huge part in achieving this!

Protein shakes aren’t a necessity but they help me achieve my protein goal (& they often taste yummy😋)

Results don’t happen overnight. Staying consistent is key!!

Most people workout and eat healthy for a couple of weeks, don’t see the results they expect and then give up 😢 that there is the error
If they continued to be consistent however they would then see results

Remember results take time!! Be prepared to put in the work and stay at it, you will see results!!
