We had an awesome day at Wheels Int Lakes Automotive Show 2026.

It was great meeting and talking to so many people about drag racing and our bike. I think we have opened a lot of people's eyes to the sport and created some new fans.

We unexpectedly picked up an award as well for the "The Best Motorbike" which was a cracking way to end the weekend and the show.

Now it's time to get the bike back on the bench and continue the work to get it race ready for 2027

Faster than a hacksaw, the work fabricating the new exhaust headers is well under way

Again, I know I haven't posted about the bike or team for a while. Here's a run down of what's been going on

1) I have had some medical issues recently that have required surgery. As a result I won't be fully fit until the end of this year hence I won't be racing.

2) The bike is undergoing some big changes which we thought would be about finished by now, but with me been unwell the bike has been put on the back burner for while.

3) We have made the decision to make the switch to run methanol rather than E85, along with a number of engine, electronics and chassis changes.

4) The bodywork and paint is staying. The bike will on the surface look the same but it will be a very different machine to the one we have been running on the past.

5) We are aiming to have the bike finished by the end of September.

The goal going forwards is to return in 2027 with a new bike that will be more competitive with the view of completing the full National championship and dabbling into Europe for the first time if things go to plan.

Sorry for the lack of posts this past couple of weeks, I've been having some medical issues that are still ongoing but I'm on the mend.

Just feels like it is 1 step forward and 2 steps back with me at the moment 😅

I will be making a video later this week giving an update on what the team has been up to and what the plans are for the rest of this year.
