The best way to understand how your car handles is to work on it and learn how the components work together!

As a driver this allows you to understand the chassis and how the car needs to be driven to get the most out of it

At VSR we are going that extra mile at HQ to compile a repair and maintenance manual that we will publish for FREE use, this manual will highlight all the common repairs that may be required to be done quickly at track side

The aim?
To narrow down the guess work!

The manual will tell you exactly what tools and sizes you need to quickly and effectively work on different components along with the torque values required for tightening.

As soon as the manual is complete we will publish it and let everyone know

Big Thank You to Mark and Jamie over at MRD Garages Ltd who had a Peugeot 107 in there yard that they was willing to sell us for cheap to get our car back race ready for Snetterton in September!

Thank you to Martin Laurel for sorting the deal and collecting it for me whilst I'm away In Scotland for work.

And a final thank you to Arron Bae Dawson our team part Raccoon which has kindly taken the little Peugeot into his capable hands to strip down for the engine to swap and various spare parts.

Team work makes the dream work 🤍🖤❤️

Cadwell 📸

Another round done and another engine killed...but not our spirit we are already in the works and talks behind the scenes to get a new engine sorted and be out fastest and most reliable engine yet!

🏁RACE 2 RESULTS (CvA)🏁

Well that didn't go to plan at all...

Silly mistakes were made...over weaving on formation lap more then 50% of the track and dropping a tyre on the grass sliding my off onto the grass learnt me a chat with the clerk who gave me a verbal warning very luckily by the skin of my teeth...

Having started from the back of the grid I was able to gain a few positions back and get all over the back of who defended me very strongly extremely well fought, I managed to sneak past and get a bit of gap until my engine started to overheat as I had forgotten to turn the heater on at the start...

Silly mistakes and a lot to learn. An unfortunate weekend

🏁RACE 1 RESULTS (AvB)🏁

Managed to get a great start from 12th and made up a few positions from start and through turn 1 and 2 getting up to 9th!

Had good run in 9th until gooseneck where I had a slide possibly due to tyre temps, this unfortunately sent me off track sliding into the barrier at speed.

Managed to get back out at the back and gain back 2 positions but unfortunately not much more I could do with the time left

Lessons learnt and we reset again tomorrow for another start from 12th and hopefully stick that Top 10 finish we want!

Aiming for our first top 10 finish hoping to make a few positions off the start and into turn 1 and hold ground and try make our way up the pack to bring our best race weekend yet!

Round 5 brings us to our home track of Cadwell park, after a mid week track day we are confident for a great weekend racing with a good amount of competitive drive under us.
