The brothers share an interest in fitness and Boxing and when the opportunity arose for them to turn an empty industrial unit into a new business, BoxFit Health Club was born. In December 2017 David and Henry brought in a new Manager - Deith Bridges and re-branded the club ....... Physique Health Club was born! Deith's aim was to make the club family friendly and with a unique idea of offering per

sonal training sessions free as part of your training the customer care package was up and running. The club has a wide variety of cardio machines, free weights and resistance machines in both the main gym and also in the state of the art, ladies only area, Foxfit. Physique Health Club has a wide range of classes available to suit every level of fitness whether beginner or advanced . Classes such as Circuit Training, Abs, Barbell, Group Cycling (spin) and even in house exclusive classes like Group Cardio and boot camps. Our classes are available in range of fitness levels, so if you’re a beginner or at a more advanced level we have a class available in a friendly group setting to keep you motivated. Since its re-branding to Physique Health Club it has set itself out as a club with a difference - friendly helpful staff and trainers, who work hard to provide welcoming environment for its members to relax and enjoy a growing list of fitness classes and an ever expanding collection of resistance machines, free weights and cardio equipment. Knowing how off putting it can be to walk into a gym and have to wait to use every piece of equipment, Physique has pledged to place a cap on it's membership numbers to prevent overcrowding and to keep an exclusive core of members to help maintain the friendly, helpful and calm atmosphere that the club currently enjoys. In January 2020 the next stage of the family club came to fruition - Physique Creche and Soft Play Zone opened giving gym users the opportunity to train whilst we looked after their little ones. We believe we are now the most successful independent gym in the area that truly is a family club. During school holidays we hold parent and child classes where your children can come and train with you in a class atmosphere .

She delivers these on a Tuesday 10.15am & Sundays 9.45am.

Jeanette is FANTASTIC at helping new people getting started, just book your spot and let her know it’s your first time .

Like any gym discipline you need to be CONSISTENT to reap the rewards… great for core strength and improving posture, whilst increasing flexibility 💪✅.

Summer bodies are not built in summer… they are maintained through summer. ☀️💪

Let’s be honest, when the sun is shining and it’s warm outside, training can suddenly become a lot harder!

The last thing you want to do after work or on a weekend is head into the gym when you could be sitting in the garden, going for a drink, or making the most of the nice weather.

But this is where consistency matters.

If you are struggling with the heat, try changing your routine:
☀️ Train first thing in the morning before it gets too warm.
🌙 Train later in the evening when it is cooler.
💧 Keep on top of your hydration.
🏃‍♀️ Adjust your training if needed, but do not stop altogether.

Remember, exercise is not just about burning calories or losing weight. Training regularly helps with:
💪 Maintaining your strength and fitness.
🧠 Your mental health and stress levels.
😊 Your mood and overall wellbeing.
😴 Better sleep.
⚡ More energy throughout the day.

Not every session needs to be your best session. Some days it’s simply about turning up and getting it done.

A steady 30-minute workout or class is far better than doing nothing because conditions are not perfect.

Enjoy the sunshine, enjoy the BBQs, enjoy making memories with family and friends, but don’t let a few weeks of good weather undo all the hard work you have put in so far this year.

Keep moving, keep showing up, and keep building those habits. The results will follow. 💪

Join the 700 Club Darlington 10K Team – Run to Make a Difference!

On Sunday 2nd August, we are bringing together a team of amazing runners to take on the Darlington 10K in support of the 700 Club, a locally-based charity, supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

Over the last 30 years, the 700 Club have supported thousands of individuals and families at risk of homelessness and suffering trauma to help them rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose. Now, we’re asking you to be part of that journey.

By joining our team, you’ll be:
• Raising vital funds to support life-changing services
• Helping spread awareness of homelessness in our community
• Taking on a personal challenge while giving back

Every step you take and every pound raised will go towards providing safety, stability, and a fresh start for those individuals and families rebuild their lives, providing them with safety, stability, and a fresh start.
