We have all kinds of services available. We pride ourselves on trying to cater for all needs under one roof. Services on offer include Personal Training, Sports Therapy, Nutrition for weight management, sport and exercise. We also offer online coaching for kettlebell sport and personal training. This is on top of our original, no gimmicks and proven exercise classes! We believe that exercise and e

Local Businesses, Can You Support?

In October, a large team from TU NOVA Kettlebell Training will travel to Corfu to compete at the IUKL World Kettlebell Lifting Championships, and we need your support.

These championships allow athletes to showcase their hard work and hopefully succeed in their events. 15 athletes, a mixture of adults, juniors and veterans will be heading off to represent England and the local area.

The sport receives no funding so each athlete has to self-fund. This includes:

Travel ✈️
Accommodation 🏠
Kit πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈ
Entry Fees πŸ’·

That's why we are turning to the great local businesses of Darlington to see if they would like to sponsor the team and grab a place on the TU NOVA Team flag (our old flag from 2017 South Korea for example).

This flag will come with us to the championships where we can show the world that we have some incredible people supporting us.

We will also share your business on our socials, come to your business for photos and do any other collaborations you would like.

Proud Coach 😊

A big shout out to these two superstar athletes.

First off we have Beth who has had an incredible season on the track. Excellent performances throughout the season and a medal at the North Eastern Championships in the 200m.

Then we have the pocket rocket that is Izzy. Although she's a footballer she's also just won the Darlington schools cross country. She's also started the season in a new team in fine fashion.

The parents organised some S&C sessions just to help them in their sport but it soon develops into so much more than that.

Improved confidence, learning important life skills and finding out that if you work hard you can achieve anything.

Those last few qualities are the most important qualities to me. Yes, strength and speed are really cool when they increase but it doesn't replace when you see these guys enjoying their sport, taking ownership of their training and understanding that its all a process.

Coaching isn't something you simply do, it's a calling. The youth athlete of today is a leader of tomorrow πŸ’ͺ

The past few weeks have been πŸ’©πŸ˜­

This year has certainly chucked it's fair share of challenges our way! As a coach who is heavily invested in his clients/athletes health and wellbeing, it is tough to see even the strongest of people struggling.

That's why I MUST do what I can to help. I don't have all the answers but one thing I do know is the power of exercise and support is incredible.

From the 16th November, I am offering anybody who needs some extra motivation and support to stay active during these tough times and dark nights, a 30min Run/Walk and Talk session.

We can run or walk, whatever you need to get you moving for 30 minutes. We can chat through any issues you have or we can simply run in silence. Again, whatever you need to help you get out and stay active.

I don't want any money for it, all I ask is you simply make a donation (if you can) to the Running Head First charity (or any other mental health charity).

So, if you want a running partner or someone to vent at (got thick skin so you can even shout if you want 🀣), drop me a message and we can arrange a time to get out πŸ˜ƒ

Grab a broom handle for your overhead squats

AMRAP in 20 minutes
2 Overhead Squats
2 Jumping Lunges
2 Back Extensions
2 Sit-Ups

4 Overhead Squats
4 Jumping Lunges
4 Back Extensions
4 Sit-Ups

Continue with this pattern, adding 2 repetitions on each movement each round.

LIFE IS A COMPETITION πŸ†

Why do we love kettlebell training?

Because in times like this, we realise the pain we endure during training, is merely preparing us for life.

The emotion of training and competing is no different to how we attack each day. We let emotion get the best of us, we lose our technique, focus and ultimately control.

We stay calm, complete every rep to the best of our ability, focus on our drivers, ignore the messages of quit and panic, then we succeed.

With the announcement that we may have to close on Thursday at first the anger and frustration may want to consume you and dictate the rest of your day/week/month.

BUT..... remember what you have learnt. Remember that you are more than prepared for this. I'm not saying it will be easy, I am saying you can do it.

Your coach is here for you no matter what. Let the lessons learnt in the gym permeate through the rest of your life.

As always, I don't need a gym to make you fly. Just support, courage, trust and will to succeed. Let's do this πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ
