Unfortunately it was a DNF for race two, the clip that holds the gear selector cable decided it wanted a holiday somewhere at Cadwell, and parted company with the car, so Matt only had 1st and 2nd gears.
There’s always next time though!

Not a bad day so far, but it’s never as good as we’re aiming for. Matt qualified 10th for race one, lost a place on the start to Andy Ruthven, then lost another to Tim Heron on the approach to the mountain, finishing the race in 12th.
Starting race two from 12th on the grid, so hopefully it goes well!

‘Twas a good day today! Matt qualified 10th for race one, and 9th for race two, all based on fastest and second fastest laps (I think).

Race one started well, and continued well, worked up from 10th to 5th, good result.

Race two Matt worked up to 6th, and managed some better lap times, with potential for more, which fingers crossed bodes well for tomorrow!

If anyone wants us, we’re currently sat in the bar at Cadwell Park.

Making a point of doing social media things this weekend, I’ve been lacking a bit this season, so here’s a pic of Matt scratching his arse.
Also, testing today went well, we tried many different settings and made the car a bit more balanced. We’ve got a few stickers to add for tomorrow’s races, but ready to go racing!

Cadwell Park, home for the weekend. Testing today, then Matt is joining the Armed Forces Racing Challenge for two races on Saturday, then our main event, the Rogue Motorsport Toyota MR2 Championship on Sunday.
