8th in the 400 class, not where we wanted to be after this weekend but we're still in the points and it's all to play for with 6 races to go 🏁🏍️🏍️🏍️

Update from Oliver's mount...

Saturday was 28° and the little 400 didn't like it so much, had problems with over heating and the clutch so managed to qualify... Just, at the back of the grid,

race 1 had problems with the clutch jumping off the line then seemed to sort it's self out, managed to gain about 5 places then she over heated again so had to retire 4 laps in

Sunday was a little cooler,
Race 1 didn't get my usual good start, managed to pick my way through the field to 14th position from 18th, 5th in 400 class, was quite happy with that for the first time there on that bike,

Race 2 same crap start, picked my way through the field again till the front brake started to fade so nursed her home to 16th,

A lot to do with the bike before the next visit for the Barry sheene meeting in 3 weeks time, bigger radiator, front suspension to service, brakes to overhaul then she should be good to go,

Thanks to the team, Vinny and Logan for a busy weekend on the spanners, and everyone who came down to support us.

We are absolutely buzzing to be able to tell you all we've had our entry accepted for the Classic Pre TT held on the isle of man from 23rd - 25th may, what an awesome way to kick off our 20th anniversary of racing and our 5th year of national road racing...

Tandragee (Ireland) 27th -28th June
Oliver's mount Scarborough 19th - 20th July
Armoy (Ireland) 25th - 26th July

Andreas 4 hour endurance Isle of Man tbc

As you can see this season includes a lot of ferry fee's, start permissions, visitor passes on top of the usual expenses of entries, tyres, diesel (truck) petrol (bikes) as well as basic maintenance costs we've roughly worked it out at about 20 grand for the season 🤢

So... We've decided to jump on the band wagon that all the other team's seem to be doing and start up a CLUB #87.

After a long winter on the spanners getting these two ready race season is finally here, just here testing this weekend ready for the classic pre TT, we've only been focusing on the little 400 today, just the one race today got a really crap start which I'm kicking myself for and made the wrong tyre choice but still finished 1st in class so can't grumble, we'll park the 400 up now and focus on the old girl tomorrow see how that goes 🏁🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️

Our winter preparations are almost complete on our 2025 national road racing machinery, only 5 weeks to go till our first meeting of the year at croft,
This year we're a two bike team with the faithful little YAMAHA FZR400 that we finished 3rd in the Aintree championship on last year,
And secondly our new to us 1969 HONDA CB450 Black Bomber classic, can't wait to get going on the old girl,

Bit of boxing day bike action... It's taken us a few days to cobble this starter up in the workshop but finally got it to stop flinging the chain off,
the old CB500 sounds bloody awesome and that's with the silencer's on, can't wait to get it out on track 🏁🏍️🏍️🏍️

We are over the moon to announce the arrival of our 1969 honda black bomber 500 classic race bike,
Professionally delivered by billy mckinstry all the way from northern Ireland at 6.30 this morning, just for us to pull it to bits and take it straight back for Cookstown on 25th April and hopefully plenty more road races after that,
somehow we've ended up a 3 bike team next season with this bike, the fzr400 and the steel frame cbr 600, should be kept busy in the workshop this winter anyway.....can't bloody wait 🏁🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️
