First home game of the 26-27 season sees DMP take on newly promoted huddersfield_ru

What a difference a week makes…….

Three wins for DMP today, amassing over 150pts across the three games 🙌🏼

1st XV sprinted out the blocks against a strong, physical Tynedale RFC going in at the break 35-7, a lead that we managed to extend in a slower second half but nevertheless a strong performance across the 80mins.

A similar story for the Dev XV who raced into a huge lead at half time only to be pegged back towards the end of the game against a sharp looking Stockton Rugby Club 1/2nd XV, with DMP finishing the game with 14-men due to injuries.

Finally our 3rd XV rounded off a great day against Billingham Rugby Club in a back and fore game that seen DMP take the honours and much like the Dev XV seen the game out with 14-men after injuries.

🔵 Team News - Derby Day ⚪️

A little later than usual but here is your 1st XV squad who will travel to Tynedale RFC for todays National 2 North Derby Weekend.

Last season Tynedale did the double over DMP and went onto gain the playoff spot in the fight for promotion, losing out to Oundle in a tight affair.

After an error, ill-disciplined opening game Director of Rugby Neil Young is hoping for a much improved performance.

“Tynedale are a tough outfit and already have a win under their belts, coming into the fixture full of confidence. We are certainly going into the game under no illusions that this needs to be a far better performance than last week and it will be one hell of a battle from minute one to eighty”.

⚪️ Dev XV host a combined Stockton 1st & 2nd XV

🔵 3rd XV host Billingham 3rd XV

⚪️ All three fixtures are 3pm Kick Offs
