Darlington Powerchair Football Club's aim is to help people with disabilities who are unable to play other sports competitively. There is no similar club in the Darlington area, and it is open to anyone of any age. The only limiting factors are the player's ability to control their powered wheelchair, remember and follow coaching instructions and read the game. Training will be provided in a safe

environment, by professionally trained officials, using welfare standards set by our affiliated bodies. Players will be able to participate in a team sport at which they can play on an equal basis. The club plays in the Northern League against teams such as Newcastle United Foundation PFC and Middlesbrough PFC greens.

The next club training sessions will this Sunday at Darlington college starting at 2pm until approximately 4:30.

New participants are allways welcome, if your unable to play regular football due to your disability/condition but love football and would like to try Powerchair football or if you’re returning to the sport after a gap then likewise pop over and come and have a look.

If you have any questions about what we do or would like to discuss the finer points e.g. transferring from your normal chair please reach out to us and we can have a chat with you. please see our details page for contact info.

Current squad member could you please contact the secretary directly if you are not able to attend training with the next league date fast approaching you are requested to attend training as much possible.

Twas the night before Christmas and very little was moving as everyone is mostly prepared for thr festivities about to come. As the clock ticks past midnight on the 25th December the day we have been building up to including a club catch-up at the Dolphin centre 1 week ago today, for a very enjoyable time with the team in a off pitch festive atmosphere.

From everyone associated with Darlington Powerchair Fc we would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and all the best for what the new year will bring to you and all your friends & Family,

Club training update.

Following a successful and enjoyable training session last Sunday 23rd October 2022. I can confirm that the club will be training this weekend starting at 2pm at Darlington colleges sports complex part of the colleges Central Park campus.

We would like to welcome anyone interested in joining our teem to come along and have a look please contact the club prior to Friday 12:00 so we are aware you will be coming along or just for more information

Club update

As the Northeast powerchair football regional league 2022/23 is fast approaching. Our focus at training which is on Sunday at 2pm is getting the team prepared in readiness for the start of the league.

We are always looking for new players so if you want to see what we do or fancy giving it a try please get in touch with us and we will give you more details.

As a reminder to all players it is paramount that you attend training. We do understand If you’re unable to make training but you NEED to let the club secretary know soon as possible with the reason why u can’t make it because to be entered in to the team you need to attend training & so time is not wasted at thr stsrt if the session. likewise if training is prospered for any reason the secretary will give you 4 days notice were passable.

Also if you would like a reminder on the morning that training is on please provide a mobile number for the reminder
