Darlaston Swimming and Fitness Centre Darlaston Swimming and Fitness Centre features a 25m pool and learner pool in an attractive open plan design.

Other facilities include a fitness suite, free weights studio and steam room. This state-of-the-art building was opened in November 2000. Its ultra modern design makes it very popular with all our customers. The pool programme incorporates activities for all sections of the local community. The Fitness suite overlooks the pool in this open plan building. The changing village is a unique feature of

fering changing facilities for individuals and families alike. The pool is fully accessible to people with disabilities and there are ample parking spaces. Competition Style Pool - 25m x 13.5m,

Looking for a career as a lifeguard?
Walsall Gala Swimming and Fitness Centre will be running an RLSS lifeguard training course
You must be at least 16 years old, and a swim test will be required prior to the booking. The course is 6 days, and all the sessions must be attended ready for the exam on the 6th day.
The dates and times for the course are:
3rd August 8am to 5pm
4th August 8am to 5pm
5th August 8am to 5pm
6th August 8am to 5pm
7th August 8am to 5pm
8th August 8am to 5pm exam day
£285 per person

The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme is returning across Walsall this summer, giving eligible children and young people the chance to enjoy a wide range of exciting activities completely free of charge.

From swimming lessons, sports and outdoor adventures to arts, crafts, games, and creative workshops, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Plus, every session includes a healthy meal to help keep children fuelled for a day of fun.

It's a fantastic opportunity to stay active, build confidence, make new friends, and create lasting summer memories.
