FC DARLASTON U17s | YOUTH TO FIRST TEAM

A huge congratulations to Danny Hodgetts and Aaron Lovell, who were selected by First Team Manager Nick Lewis to be part of the FC Darlaston First Team squad for their pre-season friendly against Brereton Social FC.

Both lads came on during the second half and played around 30 minutes, putting in excellent performances. They showed great composure, work rate and quality, earning praise from the players, coaching staff and the manager for the way they stepped up.

This is exactly what FC Darlaston is all about.

Creating a genuine pathway from our youth section into senior football has always been one of the club’s ambitions, and it’s fantastic to see that vision becoming a reality. Seeing our young players progress through the ranks and represent the First Team is something everyone at the club can be proud of.

A massive well done to Danny and Aaron. Keep working hard, stay humble, and this is only the beginning.

A 2-0 victory taking us through to the next round of the Cup. Great performance Devils with a well deserved win again. Lads helping the team by playing out of position due to injuries. Despite this still performing for the team 😈
