How to be a

1) - post a semi decent picture of yourself

Expose rocking abs, fat ass or cleavage if possible!

(Turns out my cleavage doesn't count )

2) Write something super profound or meaningful about a lesson you've learnt recently but probably won't act upon in 3 months time

i.e. I found so much love and meaning in this salt rock lamp and really helped me unearth my inner demons. But then Mercury is in retrograde and I'm a typical Leo so obviously it would.

3) Pretend like part 2 was anyway related to part 1 and sit back to watch the likes role in to feed your narcissism and sell BooTea to your 600 followers.

💪 Bicep curls are....

Probably one of the most useless exercises on the planet.

There, I said it.

If you look at your current crossfit athletes, calisthenic guys and girls or even powerlifters - all of these individuals will have a decent pair of pipes attached to them.

How often are they curling dumbells? Very rarely I reckon!

They will all be strong as funk and a bi-product of that will be hypertrophy (muscle growth).

The biceps are relatively small muscle group compared to the rest of the body and so arm specific days really aren't that relevant unless you're a top, top level body builder!

"so why are you doing them Ad?"

- Cos I enjoy doing a few curls at the end of a push or pull session.

- It appeses the 13 year old in me who first picked up a pair of dumbbell and wanted to increase the size of my noodle arms.

- it's a great way to distract people from my flamingo legs 🦩

If you want to grow a pair of arms, get strong in your compound lifts and they will grow.

Add 3 - 6 sets of a curl variation in at the end to aid in growth if you wish 💪

Always, ALWAYS start counting from 990 for a set of 10 to aid if yours, and others around you, hilarity

Most of you know that I recently set a recruitment company (genius idea Ad 👍) so thought I'd write my own CV as a Personal Trainer to show my experience and skill set.

It's a strange world we're living in at the moment.

Looking forward to starting training new clients again in the next couple of weeks, creating new bonds and hopefully making people feel better about themselves in whatever way I can.

Nothing beats the feeling for me as smashing a hard workout with your mates and loved ones in toe!

It may not put the world to rights but certainly helps make your own a little clearer afterwards.

Be kind to yourself and those around you. Be especially kind to those who need it most right now.

We're back in business....

The world has changed a lot the last couple of months.
It seems like now more than ever, people are investing more time and effort into themselves. This is due to:

- Having more free time
- The importance of being healthier for themselves and their families
- Being told they're not allowed to exercise outside
- Boredom
- Not wanting to do another f*cking Zoom call quiz

People's effort levels to exercise are as high as I've seen them in a long time but maybe lack a bit of knowledge or direction as to how get the best results.

That's where I come in!

I'm looking to take on a very small and exclusive group of clients to train in and around Essex.
