For may years this iconic fishery has been the exclusive domain of season rod holders, but following a change of ownership is now available for day ticket holders too (subject to booking in advance). The fishery is also available for corporate or groups who want something very special for that important day. Some professionals regard Damerham as one of the most outstanding still

water and chalk stream fisheries in Southern England. Anglers and novices alike who have yet to experience the abundant wildlife in their natural surroundings, will have the pleasure of casting a line on one of the three, spring fed lakes and be rewarded with healthy, fighting fish. This secluded and picturesque chalk-stream valley of the Allen River, sites Damerham in one of the most unspoilt areas of Southern England. Located between the New Forest & Cranborne Chase in Hampshire's Western Downlands, Damerham Trout Fishery was developed with the sole pleasure of trout fishing in mind. Kai Fisher (with the perfect surname for this sport!) popped over with his Dad for a mornings fishing and has taken 3 lovely trout so far. Now it’s time for a cup of tea before they go on to stalk some of the bigger fish in the lakes!!

Despite the rather warm conditions today Gary & Gordon caught these 6 lovely rainbows!!!

Simon skilfully landed this cracking 8.5lb rainbow this morning on Mayfly. He said it was one of the hardest fighting fish he’s ever landed!!

We were pleased to welcome Chris to Damerham for the first time today and he was rewarded with these 2 beauties!!

He said they both fought hard and the first one ‘nearly took my arm off it went that fast!!’
