UPDATE || Management Team and Playing Squad

Following the conclusion of the season, the club provides an update on the management team and playing squad as we enter the summer period.

Peter Campbell and Stephen Connelly will remain as Co-Managers, alongside Coach, Fraser Johnston. We are also delighted to welcome Jamie Houston to the coaching team ahead of the new season. Jamie was previously a coach at Dalry and most recently was with Ardrossan Winton Rovers. We are delighted to welcome Jamie back to the club.

As is inevitable at the end of a season, there will be changes to the playing squad. Everyone at Dalry Thistle thanks the players who are moving on, for their commitment, loyalty and endeavours for the club over a sustained period of time and we wish them every success going forward.

Behind the scenes, work has already started in preparation for the exciting challenges of the new campaign in Division Two, and we look forward to a busy summer before pre-season commences.

Further updates, including new signings and pre-season friendlies will follow in the coming days and weeks.

Thoughts from Stevie and Peter following the end of the season...

💭💬 “Delighted to round the season off with a very good performance and victory for the supporters at Merksworth. It was a fitting end to the season for a group of players who have put alot into it over the piece in getting the club promoted.

Our congratulations also go to Craigmark Burntonians on their WOSFL 3rd division title win. League tables don’t lie and the turnaround in Dalmellington over the last 12 months must be commended. Congratulations from all of us at Dalry

We would like to thank every player for their efforts in Dalry colours over the course of the season.

As with every summer period, there will be outgoings and incomings to the squad.
The hard work has already started in terms of improving the squad ahead of the exciting challenges ahead in next years second division.

We will be in a position to provide a full squad update in the coming days and will provide updates on new signings throughout the summer.

Also, a massive vote of thanks to the committee and volunteers who keep the club running on a weekly basis, it doesnt go unnoticed and without you, there is no Dalry Thistle”.
