❤️💙 DALRY THISTLE 2011s & 2015s — MAKING A DIFFERENCE TO OUR COMMUNITY 💙❤️

This week, our Dalry Thistle 2011s & 2015s joined forces for something much bigger than football. ⚽️❤️
We asked our players, families and supporters to come together and donate what they could to Dalry Food Larder, and the response has been absolutely incredible.

🥫🛍️ Together, we collected a fantastic amount of much-needed food and essential items, all of which was delivered to Dalry Food Larder tonight.

Behind every donation is someone who took the time to help. Every tin, packet, bag and item donated will make a difference to someone in our local community who may be struggling.

A massive, massive thank you to every single person who donated, supported the collection or helped spread the word. ❤️

And a huge well done to all of our 2011s & 2015s players and families for showing that being part of Dalry Thistle is about so much more than what happens on the football pitch.

We are incredibly proud of you all. 👏❤️💙

He was absolutely outstanding between the sticks, pulling off some fantastic saves and showing great composure throughout the game.

A well-deserved Man of the Match award for a brilliant goalkeeping display! 👏🔥

A tough one for the Dalry Thistle 2015s.

⚽️💙 A 9-1 defeat against a strong KFA Rovers side, with Couper getting our goal. 👏

It was a difficult game where we struggled to find our rhythm, but there were still some positive moments and plenty for the boys to learn from.

A huge well done to Mark, who was outstanding in the first half, making some fantastic saves to keep us in the game and earning a well-deserved Man of the Match award.

🧤⭐️ Oakley also put in a good shift between the sticks in the second half. 💪

It's a tough day, but that's football — we learn, we improve and we come back stronger. ❤️🖤💙

💙 DALRY THISTLE FOOD BANK DRIVE 💙

We are open for donations until Tuesday 8th September, and absolutely anything and everything will be very much appreciated! 🙏

We ask a lot from our amazing local community throughout the season, so we feel it’s really important to give back where and when we can. ❤️

This food bank drive is being organised together by our Dalry Thistle 2011s & 2015s, working as a team to support our local community. ⚽️💙

If you have any questions or would like to know what items are needed, please feel free to message me.

📍 Collection:
• I’ll be at training on Tuesdays & Thursdays to collect donations.
• Our coaches will also collect donations on game days if I’m not around.

A massive THANK YOU to everyone for your continued support of Dalry Thistle. It genuinely means so much to us, and together we can hopefully make a real difference to those in our community. 💙

💙 We are absolutely delighted and so grateful that the coaches and volunteers of Dalry Thistle 2015s have been nominated for Team of the Year at the Dalry Community Awards 2026.

It means so much to have the hard work, time and dedication of everyone involved recognised. The coaches and volunteers put so much into supporting the boys, both on and off the pitch, so this nomination is a fantastic achievement in itself.

A huge thank you to Dalry Community Council for the nomination and for everything you do for our local community. We’ll certainly be encouraging everyone to get behind the 2015s when voting opens! ⚽️💙

We’re looking forward to the awards on Friday 2nd October at Dalry Bowling Club! 🏆
