We have a team of volunteers who man the tractor and brushes in the mornings and help make our courts fab to play on. We’re always looking for more volunteers so if you think you could spare anytime please get in touch at the club email or ping a note here!! Thanks

Congrats to Jane and Russel who came out tops in the Italian Tournament. Jane is now unbeaten in our social tournaments this season so no pressure for the club champs Jane...!!

A huge thanks to players and organisers and all those bringing food, prepping the courts and making it another excellent afternoon of tennis!

A reminder as well to get your club champs entries in before 5pm on the 10th....

Our adult coaching with Grahame kicks off this Sunday - and there are still spaces on the Intermediate and Team player sessions 11:30am- 1pm this Sunday. Perfect to hone your tennis ahead of club champs!!

This week’s Beginners and Improvers session is fully booked but future weeks are available to book (although there is limited availability so move quickly!!!).

Adult and junior coaching available at DLTC. Junior camps in the holidays, coaching for individuals or groups.

Club championships are now open for the following events:

🎾Women's Singles
🎾Men's Doubles
🎾Women's Doubles
🎾Mixed Doubles
🎾Lis Stewart Mixed Doubles Handicap

The Lis Stewart Handicap Tournament was founded last year in memory of our much missed club member Liz and is aimed at ALL club members with a handicap system in play so there really is an event for everyone at the Club Champs so do get involved!!

Entries are open until 10 June 5pm, after which the draw will be done, so please ensure your entry is in on time to help the Tournament Committee be timely.

If you don't have a playing partner but would like to enter any of the doubles, let us know and we will try and assign you a partner. We will do this randomly once entries close, so please be aware that if there is odd number, we may not be able to assign you a partner.

Please send your entry, including your partner's name, to [email protected] as this email will not accept replies. We will acknowledge receipt of all entries.

Finals weekend is Friday 28 and Saturday 29 August, so please only enter if you can make these dates.

🎾 The Italian Tournament is now OPEN for entries! 🍕☀️

Join us on Saturday 6th June from 1–4pm for an afternoon of tennis, pizza and hopefully some sunshine too! 😎

The tournament will be run American-style, meaning you’ll be randomly paired with different partners each round and win points for each game won (and lose them for each game lost!!).

But it’s an Italian Tournament because… PIZZA! 🍕🇮🇹

It’s completely free to sign up, places are limited, and all members are welcome — so get your entries in now! 🎾

Players of all standards are very much encouraged to take part. The handicap format is designed to create a level playing field, making for a really fun and competitive afternoon of tennis whatever your experience level.

12 men's and 12 women's spaces available. On the day we’ll pair everyone up randomly to create 12 mixed doubles partnerships battling it out for the hotly contested Marion Allan title 🏆🔥
