The new date will be Sunday 6th September

All pre entries will be refunded through Horse Monkey

🦠Equine Influenza Update🦠

For all those attending clinics, competitions, and arena hires:

Due to the recent increase in cases of Equine Influenza, we are introducing the following biosecurity measures to help protect the health and welfare of our liveries and visiting horses.

✅ All passports will be checked on arrival. Horses must not be unloaded until passports have been inspected. Any horse without valid vaccinations will be refused entry and asked to leave the premises.

✔️ Horses vaccinated within the last 7 days are not permitted to compete. Horses must not attend any event venue within 7 days of vaccination.

✅ Horses should only be brought out when their class is due to start. Please do not stand around with horses unnecessarily; you may be asked to return them to your box.

✔️ Please park with a safe distance between horseboxes and keep horses and ponies well separated at all times.

✅ Do not touch, feed, or interact with any horse other than your own.

✔️ All horses must be kept off the grass. No hand grazing is permitted.

✅ Access to the stables and yard areas is strictly restricted to staff and liveries only.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping us maintain a safe environment for all horses and riders. Thank you for your understanding and support. 🐴

🚩 Reminder to please respect the venue, clean up after yourselves and your horses, ensure all horse poo is placed in designated poo bins only.
🙏 Please only ride / walk between arenas past the secretary hut - do not use the passageway between stable blocks, thank you.

We are looking for someone to join our friendly team at Cousland Park Training and Livery Yard on a temporary contract over the summer months.

This position has become available as a valued team member is heading over to America for 2 months.

🕒 Hours available:
• Part-time: 10 - 30 hours per week

🐎 Role responsibilities include:
• All day-to-day yard duties
• Mucking out to an exceptional standard
• Turning out and bringing in
• Maintaining arenas
• Setting up for competitions
• Keeping the yard and stables tidy and maintained to the highest standards

✅ We’re looking for someone who is:
• Hard-working and reliable
• Confident and capable handling horses
• Friendly with good people skills
• Has great attention to detail
• Takes pride in their work

It’s that time of year 😭🌧️

With the rain set to continue, so many private arenas flooding and riding on grass no longer an option I thought I’d give a reminder of the local facilities we have that I can meet for lessons. These are all within 10 minutes from home for me - I can recommend a couple further out but will be less flexible for availability!

A quick reminder that in the case of a weather warning or the arena being unsafe I am always happy to reschedule - However simply not wanting to ride in the rain is not a valid excuse for cancellation 😛😛!
