Easthouses Lily 2-3 AC Oxgangs

Our first league defeat of the season came at the hands of Oxgangs in tonight's league match where it could have easily went our way as we played out of our skin and gave it our absolute all so frustrating part is coming away without at least a point or more a well deserved 3 points.We were the better team on the night and the better team lost but we can't fault our players at all and they left everything out there on the pitch so they can hold their heads up high especially coming back from 0-2 down to get it back to 2-2 and we then lost a freak goal from an unfortunate mistake from our keeper which can happen at anytime in football so I think our opponents can count themselves lucky for the 3rd in all honesty as without that mistake I think we would have gotten a point or went on to win the game for sure so lessons to be learned and that's football as well.We also missed a penalty which is lucky of the draw in football which could have changed the whole game but it was a good stop from their keeper so something we just have to take but massive positives to take going forward for sure and that will definitely drive us forward for the rest of the season!Mon the Hooses🔴⚽

What a great day out for our boys at the Edinburgh Dungeons this morning as our planned team bonding day was an ideal opportunity today due to us not having a game and to just have a morning of fun without any football related activity was much needed.The boys all had a ball and definitely worth it and something we can look into doing again in the future.

Livingston FFC Blacks 2-5 Easthouses Lily

A Fantastic First Ever win at 11's for our boys today who dug in deep and earned a well deserved victory in a match we really should have been winning so delighted for us as a team to have gotten the first 3 points of the season and an unbeaten start to our league season.We started the game really well and deservedly went in front and created a few more chances to double our lead before lapses in concentration at the back resulted in our opponents getting the equaliser and was a wake up call from that point which the boys took on board and we again created many more chances before going infront once again before half time to take a 1-2 lead and then after the break we just took off from there and seen out the result which in the end never looked in doubt despite our opponents giving a good account of themselves we were just far superior in our play and our goals.Well Done everyone on a great win and a foundation to build on now for the rest of the league campaign!!

Easthouses Lily 7-7 Lochend Football Academy Colts

What a fantastic start to our 2026/27 Division 4A Season and our first ever 11 a side game with a well deserved point against a well matched opposition team,we went 0-2 in the opening minutes and it could have really went a totally different way but the boys dug in and refused to allow that too happen and we managed to get ourselves back into the game then it was just a goal fest from there on from both sides.An entertaining first game for our boys and end to end stuff which was definitely exciting for everyone involved and hopefully more of the same going forward and sets the standards for rest of the season!!Some fantastic goals scored as well from our goalscorers who showed their ability in front of goal so well done to all👏

Easthouses Lily MWFC Academy 2014's Division 4A are currently looking for a few more players too join our great young squad as we aim to challenge in the league for our first season at 11's,we currently are looking for another goalkeeper too challenge our current and add additional cover,also another defender and Striker as we believe these are the positions that will make us stronger and help achieve our goals.Any Ability is welcome but experience of playing football and/or at a good level would be beneficial but not essential so if anyone is interested in coming along and have a child in these above positions please contact myself and I will provide all details required.We look forward to hearing from you⚽🔴

Gala Day Cup Winners 2026!!

Our 2026 ESSDA Season and final ever game at 9 a Side finished on an absolute high on Sunday with our boys winning our 3rd Mayfield and Easthouses Gala Day Cup in a row with an outstanding performance over Penicuik Golds,The boys have had a fantastic season since we returned in March for our final block of games and yesterday's win just summed up the season for us and the hard work, commitment and real Team/Individual Efforts all showed throughout our games and they have really dug in deep to work on all the small things that was required which has been really pleasing and that will definitely show come 11 a side which we hope to be a force to be reckoned with and hard to beat.What a Season it has been so well done to all the kids who has taken part this season and in yesterday's game you have all deserved this moment and really showed why Easthouses can be up there with the best when we are on our game, here's too the next step and Journey as we enter 11 a side in August!!

Hopefully more trophies too come in the near Future
