After the heavy rain in the late afternoon, the heads are flooding and there is surface water over most of the green.

Adult Coaching is cancelled.

Play will be suspended until 18.00 to see if the situation improves. If the rain continues there is little likelihood of any play tonight.

Following the successful launch of our club shop on Zapkam with our new club jackets we are delighted to now offer trousers and shorts as our shop expands. You can see the designs for both below.

Gavin Averre has three pairs of sample trousers (Small, Large and Extra Large) and shorts (Medium, Large and Extra Large) for members to try for quality and sizing.

As with the jackets, Gavin will make himself available this week at the Friday hat night on Friday 19th June 2026 18:00-18:45.

Gavin will be taking orders so that members get a chance to take advantage of discounted pricing from a bulk order with the final price determined by the order volume. As a rough guide, Gavin expects that, with a bulk order, the trousers will be c.£25 and shorts will be c.£16.

From Saturday 13th June 2026, the National Lottery has changed the way the draw, per ticket, is made. One ticket at £2 now has a chance to win in Round 1 and in Round 2.

This means there will be 2 winners each Saturday now in Dalgety Bay Bowling Club's own bonus ball draw. The winners will each win £15 going forward.

This week's winners are:
Round 1 - No 44 won by Brian Padmore
Round 2 - No 6 won by Tom Pearson

In addition to our existing June events, we would like to open up the bar for the Scotland and England World Cup games (with the notable exception of Scotland vs. Haiti as it kicks off at 2am).

Can you please let us know in advance if you’d like to attend as we’ll have pies and sausage rolls for half time!

All welcome, and to ensure a relaxed and stylish atmosphere for our World Cup watch parties, we kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing football colours. Feel free to wear your everyday smart-casual attire!
