Cowal 2026 ✨❤️🖤
And just like that, the most prestigious competition in the Highland Dancing calendar - the World Highland Dancing Championships - is over for another year! We had such a great time away with our little team and the girls gave it their all on the boards - we couldn’t have asked for any more from them! 💪🏻
We are SO proud of Erica, Georgia, Caitlin, Mirren & Kayla; the months of preparation, the dedication never to miss a class or rehearsal, the weekly private lessons, the long hours of practising at home, the resilience shown when things don’t always go to plan, trusting the process and their teachers, learning how to look after their bodies to prevent injuries, always supporting each other, being the first to congratulate and celebrate but also being there when things don’t go to plan….the road to Cowal is so much more than just the dancing! ⚔️
For four of our dancers, this was their first experience of Cowal and we went with no expectations but to give it their all and soak up the experience. We are over the moon to share that late on the Friday afternoon Georgia Kelly received a call back in the 12 Years Scottish National Championship and went on to receive championship points in her Swords and Sean Truibhas (with one judge placing her 3rd!!) 😱 This was the icing on the cake and Georgia’s face was priceless!🏅😍
