Our mission

We aim to achieve excellence in dance education by providing a safe, secure and inspiring environment in order to promote cognitive and emotional development and resilience in our pupils. Our values
1.Social interaction -
We want to enable joy, camaraderie and lifelong friendships through the medium of dance.

2. Expression and appreciation for the arts –
Our dancers are educated not only in the physical aspects of their class, but are directed to music genres, dance history, photography and many other art platforms in order to develop an all- round appreciation for their art form.

3. Skill development –
We encourage our dancers to become the very best version of themselves by inspiring, motivating and nurturing. Staff members continue to learn and grow as teachers and individuals, giving the best of themselves and showing respect at all times.

4. Healthy body / healthy mind –
We promote good health, motor function and neurological development through the rigorous physical activities and training that dance demands. Healthy bodies in turn create healthy minds and our dancers are encouraged to be inquisitive, autonomous, self- disciplined young people.

5. Inclusivity
We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to dance, no matter of age, gender, race, or ability.

Join us every Friday at 9:30am at Yvonne Gray Dance Studios for a truly special time with your little one
Designed for toddlers from first steps up to age 3, our Mummy & Me class is a magical introduction to movement, music, and connection. Together, you’ll explore gentle dance, playful exercises, and imaginative activities that nurture both child and parent bonds.
What your child will gain:
• Confidence in a warm, supportive environment
• Early social skills through interaction with other children
• Improved balance, coordination, and motor skills
• Language development through music, rhythm, and song

⭐️⭐️ I.D.T.A Stardance Awards⭐️⭐️
Huge congratulations to this amazing bunch who have worked hard over the summer holidays on their IDTA turquoise Ballet and Red Tap Stardance Awards.
We took the plunge to try the Stardance Awards in our Thursday Grade 2 ballet and P5-7tap classes to show some of the different exams the IDTA have to offer!
We cant wait to see how well you all did and start to introduce and offer these to other classes

Is your little one now at an age where they can explore movement in more depth under the expert tuition of our fabulous staff? Here at the YG Studios, your child will be encouraged, inspired, and nurtured in a safe and appealing environment. Our studios are equipped with a cafe space offering complimentary teas and coffees for parents waiting whilst their child is in class.
We have some spaces available starting week commencing August 17th. If you'd like more details, contact us here today leaving an email address, and we will get right back to you. (These pre school classes are open to age 3 and above.)
