Prom 2 Mile Road Race

We had around 90 official runners take part in tonight’s 2-mile race, including 24 from Fife AC, 5 Wizards, 5 Haddies and an amazing 36 pupils from Capshard Primary School, along with representatives from PH, Pitreavie, Lothian, Edinburgh and Carnegie.

The wind and rain were fairly persistent too, so well done to everyone who came along and raced.

☀️ Summer Series – Race 3 ☀️

Our third race of the Summer Series takes place this Friday (12 June) and it’s a fast, flat 2-mile race along Kirkcaldy Prom.

📍 Key Details
• Registration: 6:00pm – 6:45pm (no entries after this) (Morrison’s end)
• Race Start: 7:00pm
• Distance: 2 miles
• Please arrive ready to run as there are no changing facilities available.
• Toilets are available in Morrisons.

Junior Runners: Scottish Athletics guidance recommends a maximum distance of 3,000m for athletes under 12. Any runner under 12 taking part should be comfortable and confident running the full 2-mile distance, and participation is at the discretion of their parent or guardian.

🏆 Summer Series Competition
Remember, to qualify for any overall Summer Series prizes, you must compete in all four races.

The sun finally arrived for the fourth race in this year's Mini Tour of Fife series; this time it took the runners round the circuit within Cairnie Fruit Farm. So here are the pictures taken in the rare bright sunshine.

The Mini Tour hill race took place at East Lomond last night. Unfortunately due to the inclement weather the route had to be amended. Instead of going to the summit of the hill, the race was an out and back from the mast car park to part way up the hill. Here is the set of images I took in what were not the best conditions for neither running nor photography!

Midweek Race #3 - Hill of Tarvit
Wednesday 10th June

The third race of the 2026 Midweek Series is the out and back 5.6m Ceres to Hill of Tarvit multi terrain race on Wednesday 10th June starting at 7.30pm from the main car park in Ceres village.

Licensed by Scottish Athletics.

Open to all genders and age groups from 16 years aged and over.

PLEASE pre-enter on line using the link below, but pay on the night.

Registration will be open from 6pm in Ceres Church Hall.

Entry fee £5 for Scottish Athletics members, £7 for non SA members.

Prizes for first 3 male/non binary & female will be awarded at the finish line. Age group category winners can collect their prize at the next Midweek race (Beveridge Park Wed 8 July. ** Category prizes won at Strathkinness can be collected at tonight's registration.
