Anyone missing a size L black half zip jacket with fleece in the inside from Sunday. I have just opened the boot of my car and found it. It would be someone who has put their stuff at the back of where I was sitting as it must have got lifted with all the stuff

Today's Hunter round was quality over quantity. Not a massive turn out but a great day for those who did.

Been few weeks since our last post on here, due, to holidays and national competitions.
Firstly our Course ‘Commander’ Derek, has now overseen 3 work parties up at the course. In his own words………………….
‘So far we have brought in a full 14 target course, repaired butts, repaired backstops, created paths, worked on course drainage, fixed existing butts, replaced damaged butts, tidied mess, picked up rubbish, cut dangerous trees, changed walkways, cleared shooting lanes, got rid of rubbish, had a laugh, put in a hard shift, found arrows and made new friends.
Well done all of you. Thank you 🙏

Last week 3 of us. Alan Wallace, Jordan Aitken and myself skived off from the work parties to compete at UKIFAC 2026 in Wales. Bling was brought back.
Alan and myself managed individual Gold 🥇 at SMBH-R and SMLB respectively and Jordan and myself won Gold🥇 for Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 in the team event as well.

Just a massive thanks 🙏 to the Palacerigg Work Party team who turned out this morning, to help dismantle the bottom course and pull in all the butts, pegs and boards within confines of top course. All bar butt at 28, which is well out of way of any pathway the pylon will take into Palacerigg Country Park. All done within 1-2 hours. 😯🥳
Just goes to show what can be achieved with the necessary amount of volunteers. Thanks again, your efforts are much appreciated. 🙏

Following an EGM last night, we regrettably have to announce, that from today, Palacerigg Field Archers will revert to being a 14 target course again for the foreseeable future.
This is due to Scottish Electricity erecting a new pylon, right in the middle of the bottom course. A further pylon will be erected just before the pond further into Palacerigg Park. This work is beyond our control. They have already laid a works entrance across Palacerigg Road opposite bottom course for work to start, erecting a Pylon there. Although exact timing of work, starting on our side, is not known, yet, it is imminent. We have therefore taken the decision to close targets 15-28 until further notice and retreat into old course for time being.
Work parties will be arranged soonest and help needed to dismantle butts and bring them into confines of old course.
The club would appreciate any help whatsoever in facilitating this please.

Had our AGM tonight and quite sad that only 10 members turned up. Details have been posted on here and 2 emails sent out to all members that we have a email address for. This club is a great facility we have but we need more people to get involved. I will get the minutes out tomorrow. We will be needing help to do work at the outdoor course please watch this space for details of help needed. The help needs to be from more than the same 8 people. Please offer to come and help no matter how small you may think it is every little bit helps. Thanks.
