Unfortunately a member of our team was subjected to some disgusting abuse in relation to parking at Coatbridge this evening.. from one of the staff (potentially a family member of the owner) of one of our neighbouring businesses (absolutely NOT the cafe 🫶)
The person is from a business who have for at least 12hours today USED MOST OF OUR BUILDINGS PARKING SPACES!!!!
To confirm: the parking directly in front of the JUMP Facility (and the area which has newly been changed from grassy/dirt into a storey car park) are the parking area for OUR building as confirmed by our landlord
- and not council owned which was shouted at our staff member aggressively
The parking area at the front of the new JUMP building is kindly shared with our neighbours and we don’t have any issues with sharing this as it’s the neighbourly thing to do.. there’s room for everyone and we will not argue over parking…. there’s a lot worse things going on in the world…
However - we will not tolerate this abuse and threats to report us for using 4 traffic cones which are in place to keep children safe - we have chosen not to name said person as yet however we have reported this to our landlord. If there are any further issues - we will not hesitate to name the person and their business publicly.
There are ways to speak to people, ways to discuss things and a way to speak to your new neighbours - we will not be furthering our relationships with this business in any way.
NO member of staff or person in general - should be subjected to such unprovoked anger - however this all happened in front of the camera thankfully and was witnessed by two females sitting in their car too
