Jay with 2 fish caught from the Island last weekend.

We do have some growing babies in Snails and Jay mentioned their mouths looked like they had never seen a hook before.

Perseys was booked out last weekend to a group of anglers from Weston-super-Mare way.

Some went for the River bank side whilst one went the Diggerland side in peg 3.

Few fish landed including another appearance of the newly named Berry's Common at over 30lb again. A fish clearly on the munch!

Perseys, despite its lower water levels, is continuing to produce and having lower levels has pushed them further into the deeper water away from the margins.

I fed them this morning spooked a number of fish around the lake and they certainly weren't hugging margins!!

Josh again having a great time on Snails. This time peg 6 - often overlooked by session anglers but one we see so many fish in.

Weights ranging from 15lb through to 26lb 2ozs.

Bumpy Bumpy...

** Winter Ticket 2026/27**

Dates – 1st November 2026 to 1st March 2027

Pricing as follows –

Snails & Persey’s roving ticket £225

If you only wish to fish one lake exclusively then each lake is £175

Limited in number, the Winter Ticket allows you access to hugely discounted angling over the Winter months. Also as a reminder we have toilets and warm showers which makes winter fishing a bonus. Both lakes are still open to the public as normal during this time.
If you would like a ticket, a £10 deposit (non refundable via bank transfer) is payable now and the balance is due no later than Friday 16th October 2026

To register your interest please email [email protected] with your full name and which ticket you would like.

How will it work? Simple really. Once you are registered on the Digger Lakes website, www.diggerlakes.co.uk , you will be given a promotional code that you will use every time you fish. You will have to book on just like any other session via the website. The only exception is you cannot bring a ‘non fishing’ guest or book on using the code for other anglers who are not part of the Winter Ticket promotion.

The tickets do not give you any special rights and all rules still apply except a 3 night maximum stay applies (24hr break rule)

Lewis on Perseys from a week back. Fished well and with slightly better conditions. Weights ranged from 18lb to 24lb 8ozs.
