Every challenge needs a team behind it
For the last 9 months these four lads have been there every step of the way
They gave up their time, their weekends, their sleep and so much more to help Adam and I make the 250/7 happen
They planned, organised, drove, cooked, carried our stuff, kept us fed and hydrated, ran, cycled, walked, navigated, sorted problems and did absolutely everything they could to make our lives easier
And when things got really tough especially when the injuries started to take their toll they were there
They kept us going.
They kept our heads up.
They pushed us when we needed it.
And they picked us up when we were struggling.
We genuinely couldn't have done this without them.
And then there was Megan
On the evening of Day 4, she surprised me by turning up. I honestly didn't know she was coming
From that moment, her help and support was incredible. She was there when I was struggling, helped wherever she could and gave me a massive lift when I needed it most.
Having her there meant more than she probably realises
And then, seeing Adam cross that finish line with his son Ryan was something really special
After everything the last 9 months had thrown at us, seeing the two of them finish the challenge together was a moment I'll never forget
That is what 250/7 was all about
The people.
The stories.
The support.
Coming together for something bigger than ourselves.
The 250 miles was the challenge Adam and I took on but it was a team effort from start to finish
Harry. Jack. Dave. Lewis. Megan. Ryan.
Thank you for everything
You all played such a massive part in making 250/7 what it became
