The next squad training session for all of our competition squad is Sunday 11th October at the Dojo 2 - 5pm 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

This is our last squad session ahead of the European Championships 👊🏼

✅ Fitness session first - squad kit/sports cloths for this
✅ Kata/Kumite gis with belts and Kumite protective equipment needed for the karate sessions

For Kata & Kumite (the session is split to cover both disciplines) competitors can choose to do both or specialise in one 👌🏼

World Karate Championships 2026

Back from a successful week at the World Karate Championships in Cluj Napoca Romania 🇷🇴

Our squad of just 10 athletes finished 15th in the medal table which is outstanding! (We held 6th all week until the last day when the inclusive/kobudo knocked us down a bit 🙌🏻)

Finishing with 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥈 which was very nearly more! 👏🏼👏🏼🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Great performances from everyone - I am super proud of you all! 💪🏼

We had a great week in Cluj which is a lovely city - training continues as we now focus on competitions from September and the next European Championships in Sheffield 🙌🏻🥋

Thank you to all our supporters this week, to Kevin for working hard refereeing all week and also to Terry for doing a fantastic job coaching along side me! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿👏🏼👏🏼
