Hard day on the bank today drew peg 4 wasn't going to frame from this side of the water. So playing for the section win finished with 25lb 6oz won my bank so at least I got some tokens well done to Gaz Leicester on the win,

Cunneries Hawk on winter league today after a week of cold weather this was always going to be hard. Started at 2+2 on expander for a small skimmer then a smaller gudgeon. Not looking good plumped up another line in 2' of water to my left at 11mtrs I put in abt 20 4mm pellets wit 3 peices of corn went on this 20mins later and graced with a small F1. Next 10 mins was nothing then away we went with a nice 5lb carp. Tried rotation but nothing was working. Went out into 1.5' of water with bread another quick F1. The end

Finished with 6lb 5oz for a section win my pairs partner won the match so had first in the combined pairs too.

Floats used today was a BW 0.3g wire stem for across and a BW 0.3g chimp on my left hand swim.

Fished at partridge lakes today for speed of sight charity match . I was pre drawn marsh 9. I knew nothing abt the water so after a bit of Google/YouTube I had a plan slop in the shallows long maggots in the track and a edge to my left. Started long but after a hr not a bite. Went now the track an hit my 1st F1 then it went quiet. Quick change of plan went across with 4mm pellets and 6mm meat on the hook. Had 4 nice fish then again it went quiet. Down the track to my right 6mm pellet over 4mm found a few more. Last HR fed the edge with what slop I had left. Plopping a few 8mm pellets over the top with 8mm on the hook nice mirror graced the net then a common. All out was called weighed in 23lb 2oz winning my lake and second in the match.
Well done Rick on the win and Barry Ward on third.

Fished the golden rod qualifier today at carmill dam never been before. Drew peg 62 on my own as 60 n 64 was no shows. set up 2 lines 1 at 30 mtrs and 1 at 50mtrs. Was a cold night and weights coming out lately wasn't good. Fished mainly my 30mtr line for 2lb 12oz and a section win needed another 2lb to win the zone I don't believe there was anymore I could of got out of my peg.

Covey 2 peg 47. This peg isn’t usually in matches so wasn’t expecting to much so only set up 3 lines. Far bank in 2.5ft using 12x4 banded hard pellet feeding 6-8 4mm pellets. Had a very good first hour catching 6 nice carp for around 20lb. Then this went dead. Been feeding my track line every 10 mins with 4 mm pellets had 2 jaspers in 30 mins then that was it. Fed top 2 in front with maggots had a couple from there. So just rotated all 3 swims through the match. Ended up with 13 carp/f1s for 30lb10oz for 2nd in section. Partridge fished really hard today but still enjoyed it. Well done to all framers.

Fished firtree Fisheries yesterday on the new n***y hollow match lake. At the draw a got peg 10 a end peg but no real margins. I fished short top kit plus 3 with a BWDIBBERS&DOBBERS 0.6g diamond on this line with a 0.11 to a 18 hook length. Fishing 4mm and micro feed pellets with corn on the hook.
Finished with 43 7oz for 3rd.

A good effort from Bailey Barton who got his section with 28lb.
