Crynant Old Boys - COBS & Crynant Fillies Women’s Touch Rugby head over to Ystradgynlais RFC on Friday evening for a round robin tournament.

On Saturday our seniors start league action with a short trip up to Banwen for a Dulais Valley Derby🏉

The blindside flanker was everywhere around the pitch, putting in countless tackles and disrupting the oppositions lineouts👏

First competitive game tonight for the COBS losing 7-3 to a strong Ystalyfera side, the result didn’t go our way but a promising performance for a first run out.

Huge thank you to the YOBS for making the trip and we will return the fixture in the near future.

Thank you to the referee who was in control throughout and thank you to the ladies for providing the after-match food.

Unfortunately our pre season fixture against Penallta 2nds is off due to the solid pitch. Who would’ve thought we’d be wishing for some rain🫣

Our seniors will be having a light training session at 1pm instead followed by a team social in the beer garden afterwards 🍻🍕
