Last week we had our quiz night at the Kilmarnock Arms Hotel.

Thank you to everyone who attended our support for the club was much appreciated we raised a fantastic £294!!

Thank you to local businesses who provided raffles on the night the continued support is very appreciated by all at the club.

Well done to everyone who took part! Keep your eyes peeled for the next one 💪🏸

Thanks to everyone that came through for our annual club tournament and awards night! Many laughs were had, great matches played, and good tunes provided by Karen! 🎶

I would like to congratulate our tournament winners:
First place - Robert and Mandy,
Second place - Stuart and Ali,
Third place - Duncan and Katie.

Also like to congratulate our prize winners:
Most improved male - Robert (for big change in mentalality and general game improvement),
Most improved female - Mandy (Karen being a close second, but Mandy has adapted her game from singles to doubles very quickly and shown great improvement),
Joker - Steve for providing plenty laughs this year (notable mention of the wig!),
Best Diver - Calum for keeping the floor clean with his impressive dives (though Hassan put up a good display last night!),
Star Baker - Mandy for keeping us well fed, noted also by other clubs,
Keen Bean - Zack, although both him and Ethan have shown fantastic improvement and great attitude all year, Zack takes this award for going the extra step helping us in matches!

Also, the club pitched together and got 2 lovely hampers to gift to Robert and Lydia, soon-to-be first time parents 😁 Hopefully these supplies help you in this exciting chapter!

Last Friday our Cruden Bay A team took on RGU and took the win back to the bay 5-4! Well done to the team what a fantastic result!

This was a real team effort with some the team playing up from our B team! Everyone played their part in this win!

Our final match of 2025 is tonight our B team take on Granite City B at Greyhope School - good luck team!!💪🏸

Cruden Bay Badminton Club would like to thank The Gordon & Ena Baxter Foundation for their funding for this season.

We have used the monies gained towards new stands & nets for our club nights as well as some rackets & shuttlecocks for the club.

The rackets are coming in handy with allowing members to try different options before purchasing their own.

The funding has been very valuable to our club 🙏🏼

📣Results from this week 📣

Well done to both our ladies and mixed A team who both had games this week!

The ladies team took on Aberdeen university last Friday with some close games and great badminton played by all. Final result was 1-7 to Aberdeen University.

Our Mixex A Team took on Granite City C on Sunday lots of very competitive badminton on display with 4 of the matches going all the way to the third game! Very close games well done all! Final result was 2-7 to Granite City C.
Frasers of Ellon thank our continued support from Frasers of Ellon this season! This goes a long way to making sure the club continues to run - Thank you!
