Sometimes the most dangerous part of sea kayaking can be getting out of the water...we pulled up on bardsey island crossing the feared bardsey sound. The motorboats hinge snapped, as the farmer towed it up the ramp, silently releasing a few tonne of boat towards me in my kayak. A last ditch shout from whilst brewing up on the bank gave me time to jump out the way dragging one of the kayaks with me. Luckily the props were higher than the other kayak so didn’t damage them otherwise we were stranded on an island...the moral of this story stay on the sea it’s safer. Photo taken post episode 🙃 We were rewarded on the kayak back with some views of dolphins ✌️
