Way to go Crocodiles 🐊💚

Four teams, four wins, and a brilliant weekend for Croxley’s rising stars 🎾🔥

The juniors delivered a full house of wins across all age groups with some brilliant tennis on show throughout.

9Us got things started with a strong 8–2 win over Berkhamsted 👏

The 12Us were in ruthless form, beating Greenwood 6–0 without dropping a match 💪

The 18Us battled well to secure a solid 4–2 win against Townsend 🎾

And the 14Us finished things off in style with another dominant 6–0 victory over St Albans

Amazing effort from all players across the weekend.

The Crocodiles are clearly enjoying themselves… and so are the scoreboards 😄

Croxley Mixed B are officially up and running with a brilliant 7–2 win over Bovingdon 👏

Kelly & Tony returned to form in style with a full house of wins, while Colin & Anna put in a strong performance taking two sets 💪

Meanwhile birthday boy Jeremy was reunited on court with Joanna. Unfortunately, after what can only be described as an aggressive pre-match combination of sponge cake and cheese, the pair started slowly and lost the opening set 7–5 😅

Thankfully a tactical Rennie intervention changed everything… and they bounced back to win the next two sets 🎾

The evening was then rounded off properly with celebrations back at The Guild 🍻

Another long evening on court for the Ladies C team… but this time Croxley came out on top with a brilliant 5–4 win 👏

A really tight match throughout with plenty of drama, close sets and nervous watching from the sidelines.

Thankfully the supporters were able to enjoy the evening slightly more by the end 😁💪🎾

🐊 Croxley Crocodiles – Bank Holiday Roundup 🎾

Another big weekend for the Crocodiles with wins, close battles and some brilliant team tennis all round 💪

Our 8U Crocodiles faced a strong Berko side, losing 24–8, but the score doesn’t tell the full story. Some fantastic tennis, brilliant effort and plenty of smiles throughout… even if Charles at the end looked completely unbothered by the whole thing 😂

Over at the Hertfordshire Tennis Lionel Cox Tournament, Croxley was proudly represented by our 9U girls and boys teams — and both teams came away with wins 👏
A brilliant day of tennis and team spirit for everyone involved.

Meanwhile the 10U team were heartbreakingly close against St Albans, losing in a deciding set. One of those matches that could easily have gone the other way. So close! 🎾

Wins, near misses and loads of progress across all age groups. The Crocodiles keep battling 🐊💚

🐊 Croxley Crocodiles – Weekend Roundup 🎾

Another busy weekend for the Crocodiles, with wins, learning curves and plenty of future stars on show 💪

U12s were in ruthless form, beating Stanton and Puckeridge 12–0 👏
A brilliant team performance with every point snapped up.

U11s also delivered, beating local rivals Chorleywood 6–0 🔥
Special mention to Felix and Zach, who both won their singles and doubles in a top display.

U16s faced a strong Cassiobury side and lost 0–6, but the score only tells part of the story.
It was a first match experience for Tristan and Henry, who stepped up brilliantly, gained valuable match experience and will be stronger for it 👏

Wins today, lessons tomorrow, progress always.

🎾 Mixed B – So close it hurts

A proper nail-biter for Croxley Mixed B, narrowly losing 5–4 to Northwood.

Noah & Joanna, Tony & Kelly, and Aaron & Amy all battled hard in a match that went right down to the wire.

It all came down to the final round… with all three pairs in tight tie-breaks to decide it. Couldn’t have been closer.

One that could have gone either way — big fight from the team 💪🎾
