It's this Saturday, ever wanted to have a go and see what it's all about, our current playing members range from 15 to over 90 years old, anyone is welcome to come on the day, whether it be to try or just watch or ask questions, we look forward to seeing you on Saturday 😀

The season has officially started, it was an amazing turn out for the opening of our green for the season, Many thanks to Peter for welcoming us back and to Derek for the first official bowl of the season, we had a full green and the weather stayed kind 😀

We’re delighted to share that, thanks to funding from the UKSPF GRASSroots Grant Fund, awarded through Lincolnshire Community Foundation, our new irrigation system at Crowland Town Bowling Club is now complete 🎉

This funding has allowed us to install a modern, efficient irrigation system that will help us maintain a high-quality bowling green, reduce water waste, and support the long-term sustainability of the club. It’s also had a very real personal benefit, our green maintenance leader, Frank, no longer has to spend summer nights cycling back and forth to move sprinklers, saving his legs (and his knees!) and letting him finally get a good night’s sleep 😄
