This week our amazing teaching team have been busy refreshing their Safety Award for Teachers qualification — strengthening their pool rescue techniques and updating their first aid skills to keep every swimmer safe and supported in the water.

From practising safe, effective rescues to sharpening essential first aid responses, our staff have shown incredible dedication to maintaining the highest standards of safety in every lesson.

We’re proud of their hard work and commitment to creating a safe, nurturing environment for all our swimmers. 🌊✨

💦✨ WOW — What an amazing first day back! ✨💦

The pool has been full of smiles, splashes and so much confidence today. It’s been wonderful welcoming back our returning swimmers and meeting all our new families joining us this term. We can’t wait to see everyone throughout the week and continue building those magical swimming moments together.

📍 A quick reminder:
All lessons this week are running at our Ashdown pool while the refurbishment at Fermor is completed. We can’t wait to be back at Fermor next week and see the beautifully newly‑tiled pool.

🎒🏊🏻‍♀️🍂Back‑to‑School & Back-to-Swimming🍂🏊🏻‍♀️🎒

As our swimmers head back to Nursery, Preschool, Reception and Primary School this week, we know it’s a huge milestone — exciting, emotional, and sometimes a little overwhelming.
New routines, new faces, new environments… it’s a lot for little bodies and big hearts.

You may notice swimmers who were previously confident becoming:
😢More tearful
😴More tired
💜More clingy
🙅More hesitant in the water
📉Or showing small regressions

This is completely normal. A child’s swimming journey is never linear — it has peaks, pauses and wobbles, all part of learning and growing.
Our teachers are here to support your swimmer, but also you, as everyone adjusts.

💦 Lessons return next week, giving families a little breathing space to settle into new routines before diving back into the pool.
