Crowborough Tennis and Squash Club started life in 1905. We are thriving today promoting tennis, padel, squash, racketball and activities for the whole family. We are a Pay and Play club open to the public with great membership benefits. Members are able to book courts up to 10 days in advance. Various tennis, padel, squash and racketball social sessions, divisions and the ability to represent the

club in competitive leagues of all abilities. Discounts on coaching with our tennis provider CTA Sussex. There are a host of social events throughout the year. We have a growing membership with teams competing in a variety of leagues across all sports. Our comfortable bar hosts a variety of events throughout the year. Young or old, at rest or play there is something for everyone at Crowborough Tennis and Squash Club. We have 7 floodlit tennis courts. 2 floodlit padel courts and 4 squash/racketball courts. 🏆🏓 CLUB CLOSED PICKLEBALL FINALS DAY 🏓🏆

This past weekend saw the conclusion of our Club Closed Pickleball Tournaments, with two exciting finals that produced a fantastic standard of play and provided great entertainment for spectators.

🥇 Mixed Doubles Final
Charlie and Richard were crowned champions after a superb performance, defeating Bronwin and Rob Sands 3-0.

🥇 Ladies Doubles Final
Charlie and Kate claimed the title with a hard-fought 3-1 victory over Julie Townsley and Sue Black.

Congratulations to all the finalists for putting on such a great display of Pickleball. The matches showcased the skill, competitiveness and sportsmanship that make our club so special.

🎾 WEEKEND TENNIS RESULTS 🎾

A fantastic weekend of competitive tennis for our teams!

💙 Weald Mixed 2nd Team secured a superb 3-1 victory. Ian & Sabine were in outstanding form, winning both of their matches, while Steve & Sheila battled hard to claim one win and narrowly missed out in the other.

💙 Sussex Men's 1st Team earned a hard-fought 2-2 draw against a strong Sussex County side. Noah & Bertie led the way with two impressive wins, while Gareth & Paul were unfortunate to lose both of their matches, including one that went right down to a nail-biting Championship Tie-Break.

💙 Sussex Ladies 1st Team also recorded a 2-2 draw in a closely contested match against a tough Weald team. Ania & Lila were unbeaten, winning both of their matches, while Anne & Amanda fought bravely but narrowly lost both encounters. Remarkably, the match featured three Championship Tie-Breaks, showing just how close the contest was!

Well done to all our players for representing the club so brilliantly!

Last night, The Horam League 1st Team secured A fantastic win at home against the Wadhurst Tennis Club.

The match of the night was the mixed doubles fixture. Steve Bremer & Becky Hunt battled hard & managed to edge past the unbeaten pairing of the visitors in a nail-biting Championship Breaker.

Leanda & Lorraine were unbeaten, winning both of their matches, while Kath & Liz picked up one win and narrowly missed out in the other.

🏆Pickleball Tournament Success for Our Club Members! 🏆

We're incredibly proud to share that Richard and Charlie competed in the top Mixed category at the Triangle Takeover Pickleball Tournament in Burgess Hill and delivered an outstanding performance, going on to win the tournament! 🎉 🎉 🎉

A huge congratulations also goes to Kerry, another member of our club, and her partner Mike, who played brilliantly to secure 3rd place.

What a fantastic achievement for all involved and a great reflection of the strength of pickleball at our club. Well done, everyone!



The Triangle Takeover featured multiple skill divisions, with Mixed categories including Foundation, Momentum and Ascent levels. Richard and Charlie competed in the highest Mixed division and came out on top.
