We are now permanently closed.

In the blink of an eye, 16 years and 8 months have past. It’s been a lot of fun, with so many good memories. It was an amazing adventure which started when I was only 26 years old. So much has happened in that time, most of it good. But life is made up of many chapters and this one has come to an end. So it’s time for a new adventure, it’s time to move on…

We couldn’t have done it without you. So thank you for all the good times. Until we meet again.

The weather is looking better this week, so hopefully next weekend will be good to go... It's started to thaw already, so I'm hoping the snow will be gone in a few days.

Monday 30th & Tuesday 31st January have been added online now. If you have an outstanding booking from the weekend and you want it moved, let me know asap.

Uplift Cancelled this weekend, Sat/Sun 21/22nd. I've already emailed everyone booked in for Saturday. Sunday email to follow. Sorry peeps...

The road is covered in ice, very dangerous up there at the mo. Higher up the mountain its covered in thicker snow. Hopefully it'll clear before next weekend.

Uplift Cancelled Friday 20th January. All those booked in have been text/emailed. Not looking great for the rest of the weekend. I'll check back tomorrow then I'll make a decision. If you are booked over the weekend, you will receive an email/text to let you know.

Yep, you read that correctly… We will be closing down at the end of January 2023. After more than 16 years at Cwmcarn, it’s time to wrap things up. It’s no longer financially viable for us to keep running. It was great while it lasted (most of the time), but all things come to an end and I’m up for something different. I’ve made some amazing memories, worked with some great people and made so many great friends over the years. Thankyou to all of our customers, you’ve kept me out of a “proper job” for a long time.

Anyway, I’m sure I’ll see some of you in January…

This is the last weekend we will be running until December. There are still a few places left for Friday (tomorrow) and some places for Sunday. After that, we won’t be back until 3rd December.

Also, in other news… Our contract only runs until end of Jan 2023, beyond that I’m not sure if we will still be running. Hopefully it will be renewed, but it’s not guaranteed at the moment. Bookings are available over Christmas and to end of January. www.cwmdown.co.uk

You can book a full day uplift for £39, giving you 10 runs or 2500 metres of vertical gnarliness.
